Natural Citizenship
Citizenship is automatic to all born
in Cabinda, and it is extended to the sons of Cabinda citizens born
in the exterior up to their Grand Sons.
The Passports are issued to all
Natural Cabindans at no cost, this is a service the Government of
Cabinda Free State does in order to grant a passport and legal
means for someone from Cabinda to have its own passport and does not
have to have an insulting angolan foreign passport.

Honorary and Acquired Citizenship
The Government of Cabinda Free State is based on Common Law and is a progressive Constitutional
Democracy institution, the Cabinda Free State implements the laws
and government style structure of that the United Kingdom of Great
Britain.
The Cabinda Free State allows foreign
citizens to acquire Cabinda citizenship this gives the same rights
and privileges to those acquiring the Cabinda Citizenship as Natural
Citizens. Once Cabinda regains and its Sovereignty is restored
Honorary and Acquired Citizenship will remain to be fully confirmed
and recognized and the same is guaranteed by Constitutional Cabinda
Law.
A - There is no cost for Honorary and
Acquired Citizenship and the issue of Citizenship Certificate.
B - If a 10 year Passport is requested then and a donation is welcomed as it covers the
cost of printing and delivery by registered mail, usually 200 Euros
Concerning the Issue of Cabinda Diplomatic Passports
Diplomatic Passports issued by and
under the
Authority of Cabinda Free State Government are issued to those
institutions and individuals who in different Jurisdictions and
Countries wish to advance and promote the civic and humanitarian
plight and increase the international awareness of the situation in
Cabinda, promote the ideals of Freedom Justice and self determination of
Peoples and Nations as enshrined in the United Nations Charters and
the Human Rights Charter. And as Advocated by the UNFS Charter.
Diplomatic Passports are issued for a one time only donation usually 1,000 Euros.
Concerning validity of the Passports
Cabinda Passport are issued under
the aegis of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights,
Adopted by United Nations General Assembly Resolution 217A (III) of
10 December 1948:
Article 13
1. Everyone has the right to freedom of movement and residence
within the borders of each state. 2. Everyone has the right to leave
any country, including his own, and to return to his country.
All passports are done in Security
Paper they where issued by a major Printing Company that works for
the Government in the Country in which the Cabinda official
Passports where printed. The passports have more than 50 security
features, those include security paper, water markings, holograms,
plastic sheet, etc....
Actions of Governments in Exile
International law recognizes
that Governments in Exile may undertake many types of actions in
the conduct of their daily affairs.
These actions include:
- Becoming a party to a
bilateral or international treaty;
- Amending or revising its own constitution;
- Maintaining military forces;
- Retaining (or "newly obtaining") diplomatic recognition by
sovereign states;
- Issuing identity cards and Passports;
- Allowing the formation of new political parties;
- Instituting democratic reforms holding elections allowing for
direct (or more broadly-based) - elections of its government
officers, etc.

OATH AND PLEDGE
The form of citizenship oath and pledge is as follows for registration of or naturalisation as a Cabinda citizen:
OATH
"I, [name], swear by Almighty
God that, on becoming a Cabinda citizen, I will be faithful and bear true
allegiance to Cabinda Free State, and its legitimate Democratically and
Constitutionally elected Government according to law."
PLEDGE
"I will give my loyalty
to Cabinda Free State and respect its rights and freedoms. I will uphold
its democratic values. I will observe its laws faithfully and fulfil my
duties and obligations as a Cabinda citizen."

CABINDA FREE STATE HUMAN RIGHTS ACT OF 2006
As per this act, Cabinda Free State ratifies and declares in force on its territory the following human rights conventions:
I - International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (1966);
II - Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide (1948);
III - International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (1966)
The preceding shall co-exist as the highest law of the land and become part of the organic law of Cabinda.
